Pregnancy is the start of an incredible journey of motherhood. It brings the bundle of joy and happiness for the parents. It is the most beautiful and joyful time period in every woman’s life. It also brings many physiological and psychological changes in a woman. And you need to be very careful about things to do and not to do. You need to be prepared for certain unforeseen circumstances, but the trick is to know how to keep yourself free from some unwanted worries.
Dos:
Have Balanced Diet:
Including a healthy and balanced diet can provide all the required nutrients that you and you baby require. Find out about foods you should and should not eat.
Food Supplements:
Sometimes your meal lacks some of the essential nutrient elements and you have to take food supplements as the substitute. In order to remain fit and smart during pregnancy, you should take essential food supplements and multivitamins. This will keep you as well as your child healthy and robust.
Exercise:
Exercise is the most important and the significant thing which keeps you healthy and fit. People think that exercise during pregnancy can be harmful and dangerous but little did they know that exercise can solve your major problems during pregnancy. In order to remain fit and smart during pregnancy, you should do simple and easy exercises.
Yoga:
Guided imagery, deep breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation, and prenatal yoga help you to remain calm and promote good sleep. When you are pregnant you feel stressed and tired which is not good for the health of your child as well as for your health. In order to remain fit and healthy during pregnancy, you should do yoga.
Keep yourself Hydrated:
You should drink about eight to ten glasses of fluids every day. Carry a water bottle with you always and sip in regularly. It helps avoid dehydration and prevents urinary tract infections. . Clear urine indicates you are well hydrated.
Have Proper Sleep:
You may suffer from insomnia during pregnancy which is harmful to your health as well as for the health of your child. In order to stay fit and healthy during pregnancy you should take proper sleep at night. This will make you fresh and active during pregnancy.
Walk:
If you don’t want to work out and exercise during pregnancy then you can go for a walk. Taking a 15 to 20-minute walk every day can keep your energy levels up.
Don’ts:
Avoid Alcohol:
It can quickly pass through the placenta and umbilical cord and affect the baby’s developing brain and organs. Alcohol also leads to premature birth, brain damage, miscarriage, and stillbirth.In order to have a safe and hassle-free pregnancy, you should avoid consumption of alcohol during pregnancy.
Avoid High Jumps:
Some people are fond of jumping on a trampoline as it is very entertaining activity. While you are pregnant you should avoid high jumps on the trampoline. In order to stay fit and safe during pregnancy, you should take care of yourself.
Avoid Caffeine:
It can increase blood pressure, heart rate, and you have to frequent to the loo. Also, caffeine passes through the placenta and increases the possibility of the baby developing diabetes.
Hot Tub Bath:
Hot tub bath or sauna bath can increase the temperature of the body which is harmful to the baby during pregnancy. In order to have healthy baby and smooth pregnancy you should avoid taking hot tub bath during pregnancy. This will keep you fit and healthy during pregnancy.
Avoid Processed Food:
No matter you are pregnant or not you should avoid eating unpasteurized and raw food which is harmful to your body. In order to stay healthy and fit during pregnancy, you should avoid eating unhealthy food as it is very harmful to the fetus. You need to have quality and healthy food in order to remain fit and healthy during pregnancy.
Don’t Smoke:
It is linked to many complications including cancers, premature delivery, miscarriage, low birth weight babies, sudden infant death syndrome, and learning or behavioral issues as the baby grows. No matter how much you are addicted to smoking you should make sure that you quit smoking during pregnancy as it is very dangerous for the health of the baby as well as for your health.
Protect yourself from Harmful Rays:
In order to keep yourself as well as your baby safe, you should protect yourself from harmful rays like ultraviolet and X-rays. These harmful rays can cause many problems and complications in your pregnancy you should protect yourself from these harmful rays
